Police Officers' Association of Nebraska Fund-raising
The Police Officers' Association of Nebraska contracts with Community Relations, a professional promotion and marketing company to assist us with our fund-raising efforts. Our fund-raising program is called "Back the Badge". The money that is raised goes to a variety of programs and causes such as:
- Training scholarships for officers
- 8th Grade Essay contest, "Say No to Drugs and Alcohol"
- Annual Training Conference for members across the State
- State Fair youth outreach program
- Special Olympics
- Support the Nebraska Law Enforcement Memorial
- Nebraska Coalition for Victims of Crime

Contributions are solicited from citizens of the State of Nebraska by telephone. DayCom staff identifies themselves as calling on behalf of the Police Officers' Association of Nebraska. Those who make a contribution receive a thank you letter from the President, informational brochure, a logo and a pledge card.
